What the students say about The Jazz Lab….

“A great opportunity to learn more from really great musicians in a very comfortable and informal setting.”

“The Jazz Lab provides a non-judgmental environment to try things out in. Everyone was very encouraging.

“[Strengths of the Jazz Lab are] the experience and musical skills of the tutors and their ability to encourage beginners.”

“It’s fun, you learn a lot, and also end up playing a lot more!”

“The biggest strength of The Jazz Lab is the variety and quality of the tutors! Getting different aspects and ideas from different jazz players opens the horizons and gives good ideas on what to work on at home, where else to look for info, what to listen to etc. “

“[The Jazz Lab] instills more confidence in students. Reinforcing certain things like chord progressions/modes etc from week to week helps to develop how you approach the music. I also like the fact that the beginner’s course works for (a) people who are beginners on instruments but already have interests in jazz; and (b) more experienced players who are very new to jazz.”

A really worthwhile musical experience. Got some great ideas from the excellent mentors.

The Jazz Lab that Marco and Cote organized last October-November was so awesome, great ambient, great musicians and great tutors. I will certainly repeat.

Over the course of the Jazz labs I learned so much about different accepts of Jazz from a pool of truly talented musicians. The experience was very positive, the atmosphere at each session was very supportive and I met a great bunch of people along the way which includes the Jazz lab organisers, teachers and the attendees. I would highly recommend attending future Jazz labs for anyone interested in improving their Jazz experience and overall musicianship

Really enjoyed the Jazz Lab and learned a lot. Thanks guys!

” It was very inspirational, and really got me back to practicing guitar a lot”
